Membership Information

Membership in ECA is open to anyone interested in cashmere and cashmere goats. Dues are $25 yearly. Membership includes voting privileges, the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors, subscription to the newsletter "Hoofprints", and a network of people knowledgeable about cashmere and cashmere goats.

ECA also sponsors two judged shows in the autumn each year: The State Fair of Virginia and the New York Sheep & Fiber Festival in Rhinebeck. The ECA annual meeting rotates between these two locations. The shows are a terrific place to learn, talk to breeders, sell fiber, and contemplate additions to your own herd.

ECA actively encourages young people to join by offering a junior membership for $15. Junior members (under age 18) receive Hoofprints, but may not vote or hold office.
